A Reference Architecture for Building Digital Twins
David McKee
Slingshot Simulations
Abstract: Digital Twins have had many definitions over the last few years and there have been many attempts to define a reference architecture or best practice guide for building these systems. In this presentation David will present the results of the collaborative effort between over 300 companies at the OMG Digital Twin Consortium to agree on both a single definition of a digital twin as well as a reference architecture that aligns with current best practice. We will talk briefly about example open source solutions across this stack and then explore how Slingshot has been approaching the digital twin space with opportunities for collaboration.
